We offer a variety of programs designed to help your family get off to a good start or to get you through those difficult times
Low Income Rental Units:
TMHA offers 1-3 bedroom low-rent units in Rolette County for low to very-low income households.
These units are offered in various locations, known as:

New Generation Rural Development:
TMHA’s New Generation Rural Development program offers 1 bedroom rental units through Federal Subsidized Housing.
Willow Manor Tax Credit/Rural Development:
TMHA Willow Manor complex offers 1 bedroom rental units for applicants 55 years and older, and disabled or handicap applicants 18 years and older, through Federal Subsidized Housing.
Homeowners Assistance Fund Program:
Homeowners Assistance Fund (HAF) Program may provide assistance to TMBCI tribally enrolled members, who are homeowners and otherwise eligible for HAF, who reside both inside and outside of TMHA’s geographic jurisdiction (service area) for purposes of mortgage payment assistance, provided the mortgage is financed by Veteran’s Administration, FHA, Title 184, or other Federally subsidized loan guarantees. HAF home repair and utility assistance is limited to households residing inside of the TMHA service area, or Rolette County, ND. HAF assistance may be provided to each eligible homeowner (under any combination of activities) and may not exceed a maximum of $7,500 (Seven-Thousand Five-Hundred Dollars) per participant.
Down Payment Assistance Program:
TMHA Down Payment Assistance Program offers assistance for first-time home buyers who are purchasing a single-family home in the Rolette County area.
Emergency Rental Assistance Program:
TMHA ERAP offers assistance for tribal and non-tribal members that are unable to pay rent and utilities as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
